Wow! What a year it has been! This year has definitely felt like I’ve been on a rollercoaster ride of emotions and circumstances and I dont like rollercoasters! Some of the positive aspects of 2020 so far have been it has allowed me to slow down and really appreciate every moment. It has forced me to do that. In the beginning of the virus, I was excited about all of the free time, I worked out more, cleaned my house and told myself that I would make the best of the time and my life would be in order more than before. As I sit here today in my house typing, it looks about the same, I still have laundry that I need to put away on the couch and stuff I need to pick up, floors that need to be vaccumed and bathrooms that need to be cleaned. This time has helped me realize that my children will only be small for so long, one day my house will be clean and I will miss these moments of all the mess and craziness. I will look back on these days and smile as I reminisce when life was almost at a stand still.
I wish you all well and even though this is a crazy time, we will all get through and come out stronger on the other side. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family and I hope that you take some time to appreciate all that we DO have in life at this current moment.
